Our Japanese produced Sword maintenance 'kit' contains the following:

• One large white silk covered Uchiko ball (item 'C') loaded with filtered genuine Japanese Uchigumori stone powder.

• Japanese Uchigumori powder is produced during the wearing out of Uchigumori stones used in the polishing process. Uchigumori stones are found only in Japan, not Korea, the South pole, USA, Brazil, Cuba, Pakistan, England, Iceland, or China (repeat:: Only in JAPAN). Uchigumori powder and genuine Choji Oil are your swords two best friends (traditional) that will insure its proper maintenance and preservation.

• Your choice of bottle (F-1 or F-2)  'Choji' is a special blend of rust inhibitors.

• Nuguikami. (# E ) 2 large sheets of special hand made cleaning paper.

•  

• One small plastic container (D) designed to hold the oil application cloth.

•  

• Brass Hammer designed to remove mekugi pins.

Our KIT (as displayed above) is packed with (best buy) the large Uchiko ball and the large 100cc (4oz bottle) of Clove oil.

Others offering sword 'maintenance kits' claim they have the best buy...(blah, blah  blah....)   but careful inspection reveals that in their effort to provide a lower price, (A) the brass hammer is removed and-or (B) they keep the big bottle of oil and toss in a tiny one and (C) because Uchigumori powder is not available except in Japan, they offer (believe it or not) 'talcum powder' or chalk in their applicators.

We discovered three Japanese retail suppliers offering the same identical kit at prices that average $75 to $85.
